Ziarah Utara (Pilgrimage to the Coast) is an annual 2 week research walk initiated in 2018 by Tita Salina, Jorgen Doyle, Irwan Ahmett and Hannah Ekin in collaboration with Rujak Centre For Urban Studies. This walk forms the basis for ongoing engagement with the shifting conditions of Jakarta coast, and a platform to invite other artists, researchers and activists to think and respond collectively to this dense and contested space.
